Stonehorse Lone Goeman

Tonawonda Band of Seneca

Stonehorse is a Seneca Native American who lives in Syracuse New York.  He is a U.S Army veteran who has gone on to become an accomplished artist & sculptor.  Stonehorse has accomplished many things in his life, he is a U.S. amateur boxing coach & is one of the coaches for the native American boxing team, who hope to be in Beijing china as an Olympic team.  Stonehorse volunteers 5 days a week at the Syracuse ymca, he says “I believe in giving where I reside”.  He is also a former professional muay thai kick boxing champion and trains almost everyday in celebration of his gift of health.

 

Stonehorse loves working in miniature – he says “I want to be the Faberge of the Indian world.  It’s such a challenge”.   “My furniture themes are all based on stories & legends”.  “I  call it brain damaged rather than creativity, it keeps me humble”.
